175-acre coastal forest nature preserve located in a rural setting of Brunswick County. Bordered by Town Creek, Ev-Henwood possesses outstanding natural and cultural resources and native plants and animals can be observed and enjoyed while walking seven miles of maintained trails. This site is featured on the NC Birding Trail. Species of interest include: Prothonotary Warbler, Swainson's Warbler, Summer Tanager, Blue Grosbeak, and Indigo Bunting.
