The Bricklanding Boating Access Area features two 15-foot wide boat ramps, a floating dock and a paved parking lot with 23 boat trailer spaces and five single-vehicle spaces. Two of the spaces are handicap accessible. The boat access area is on the Intracoastal Waterway, close to the Shallotte River and Shallotte Inlet. Nearby fishing offers a variety of species, including red drum, Spanish mackerel, snapper and flounder.
