The 2023 Christmas by the Sea Parade in Oak Island will be held on Saturday, December 2nd. The parade showcases the businesses and organizations in the community. The hometown feel of the parade makes it a favorite event of locals, second homeowners and visitors. The parade steps off at 2:00 p.m. beginning on East Oak Island Drive in front of Town Hall and making it's way eastward, ending at McGlamery Street. As always, Santa and Mrs. Claus will be the final float at the end of the parade waving to children and the young at heart as they drive by.
