Riverside Motel

Southport's only historic waterfront motel was built in the early 1950s. It is family-owned and operated, and is the perfect place to relax in your private porch swing just a few steps outside of your waterfront room in the heart of downtown Southport. It is within walking distance to shops, restaurants, bars, museums, visitor center, marina, art galleries and parks. From the moment you arrive at Riverside, you are on "Southport Time!" (a slower relaxed pace of life). Settle into your waterfront cottage, and step outside to your back porch swing and enjoy the fresh salty air and breathtaking sunsets! Watch the ships go by or toss a line just off the bulkhead and pull in a fish or two!
