The U.S. Open King Mackerel Tournament began over 40 years ago, this year will be the 46th year. This event attracts over 500 boats annually and is one of the largest kingfish tournaments on the east coast. The tournament is a fun family event with loads of excitement, spectators who celebrate your catch, and a guaranteed prize structure. The event kicks off Thursday, October 3rd with registration, food, and entertainment. The tournament begins Friday October 4th and continues through to Saturday October 5th, ending with more food trucks, entertainment from 4:30pm-7:30pm, and an Awards Ceremony. The U.S. Open is part of the Southern Kingfish Association Tournament Trail. Entry fee charged.
