The U.S. Open King Mackerel Tournament began over 40 years ago, this year will be the 45th year. This event attracts over 500 boats annually and is one of the largest kingfish tournaments on the east coast. The tournament is a fun family event with loads of excitement, spectators who celebrate your catch, and a guaranteed prize structure. The event kicks off Thursday, October 5th with registration, food, and entertainment by The Back Porch Rockers from 4:00pm-7:00pm. The tournament begins Friday October 6th and continues through to Saturday October 7th, ending with more food trucks, entertainment by Trilogy from 4:30pm-7:30pm, and an Awards Ceremony. The U.S. Open is part of the Southern Kingfish Association Tournament Trail. Entry fee charged.
