Come and celebrate National Lighthouse Day with Old Baldy Run for the Light Race and festivities at North Carolina's oldest lighthouse, Old Baldy!
On Sunday, August 6th at 6 p.m. will be the Run for the Light and National Lighthouse Day Festival. The festival will feature games, crafts, food, beer and more! The Run for the Light course is a scenic run near coastal dunes and through the maritime forest on Bald Head Island. The whole course features an all-asphalt surface, with splits and water at the 1-, 3- and 5-mile marks. This event is perfect to showcase one of North Carolina’s most beautiful beaches and maritime forests – great for the whole family to enjoy and it will be one to mark off your bucket list!
